Perforated Eardrum Treatment
A perforated eardrum means there is a hole in the eardrum, the cause of perforated eardrum is infection or injury.
Perforated eardrum caused by an injury or infection may heal themselves.
Perforations that have been present for several weeks are unfortunately unlikely to heal spontaneously.
It may be the cause of recurrent infections with a discharge from the ear.
Avoid water in the ear if you have infection.
Most perforations produce some degree of hearing loss.
You may need surgery to repair your perforated eardrum if the hole in your eardrum is large or doesn't heal in a few weeks

Hearing loss
Itching
Pain
Fluid
High fever
Ringing or Buzzing
The symptoms will usually pass once your eardrum has healed and any infection has been treated.
Precautions:
Swimming
Flying
Smoking
Close contact with sick people
Strenuous activities
Blowing nose too hard
